I have set all messages to a common paragraph indentation, and converted any all-caps messages to upper and lower case, as well as converting things in present tense to past tense. I have also corrected spelling mistakes and bad punctuation. While the messages originally all had titles, some of the titles were random-titles. For clarity, I have left only the titles that were NOT random. The message headings, as they appear in this archive, are not actually as they originally appeared. I have simply placed the username in brackets, followed by the title of the message when appropriate. This was to leave things less cluttered. When putting together this collection of archives, I had originally intended to wait until I had them all ready before releasing them. But it became necessary to release the later ones first. The reason I sat on this one was because I did not have all of the original messages. You see, I had made the mistake, in earlier releases of this first story, of deleting the message-headings. This was because all of the other stored BBS stories I had seen didn't have such things, and it never occured to me that the headings might be important. I always deleted them out of hand as extraneous. Actually, the other preserved stories I had seen had generally been written by individuals rather than groups, unlike the stories I collected, so any message headings with those, if such had existed, were less important, anyway. Now, I DO have SOME of the messages, but only of the later part of the story, not the beginning. I was going to wait until I found someone else that had this material, and I may still find someone. But I got tired of waiting. I decided to partially restore this thing. You will notice that the first two "chapters" of the story, part one and two of "Gun's Don't Kill, Bullets Do!" do not have the headings restored. But the third chapter does, as do both chapters of "Jumpin' Jehosiphat!" When I got into this restoration, I discovered some material I had deleted from the original. It was not really part of the plot, per se, but it was part of the story, sort of. It came after the major cliffhanger at the end of "Guns Don't Kill..." and before the beginning of "Jumpin' Jehosiphat!" Trouble is, putting it back into Chapter Three of "Guns..." would have lessened the impact of the cliffhanger, and it would have been a distraction if added to "Jumpin' Jehosiphat!" so I left it seperate and called it "Intermission."
