Comments from the archivist:

                This is "A Real Scorcher" and its followup "Taking Potshots"
                It takes place after "Time and Time Again"

                It is the last story involving Captain R/C and Redstar, and
                was written on Temporal Vortex BBS instead of on CommHex.


    Here come the borrrrring formatting comments.  These paragraphs are all
more or less the same as in the Comments for the other archived stories,
except that I've here abbreviated it a bit.

    I have set all messages to a common paragraph indentation, and corrected
any spelling and punctuation mistakes.
    While the messages originally all had titles, most of the titles were
random-titles.  For clarity, I have omited most of the ones that were random.
The message headings, as they appear in this archive, are not actually as they
originally appeared.  I have simply placed the username in brackets, followed
by the title of the message when appropriate.  This was to leave things less
cluttered.
    Any modifications to an individual message -- except ones involving
punctuation or grammar -- were very minor and are purely for continuity.  For
instance, maybe someone put the wrong word in place, or got names switched
around.
